The Lineman Fellowship is a social media platform that is like Facebook. It has many of the same functions, but it is private and can only be viewed by members. It is an entire social media platform that belongs to us, the Linemen. The vendors and utilities can’t see it, Mark Zuckerberg can’t see it.

What It’s All About

My name is Byron Dunn, I am the founder of Powerlineman. Having this platform is a great opportunity for all Linemen from anywhere in the world to connect.

It is invitation Only Membership.

A sponsorship from Lineman to Lineman, friend to friend, the intention is to make a space that consists of only other trusted Linemen. No Bosses and No Salesmen. Just Linemen.

Membership is free to all Linemen.

It is a Social Club
The first thing you should do is check the Directory for any other Linemen you may know. The Fellowship is for fun and getting together on things. Things like Lineman Rodeo or keeping track of your old Buddies and maybe getting together for BBQ and beers. The important stuff we need more of. Please take the time to learn how to invite your best buddies. It is very easy, just click on the invite a friend button, then pick if you want to sent it by email or text, generate the code and hit send and it’s done!
Some of the possibilities:
• Lineman Rodeo Association
If you are involved in Lineman Rodeo, find the private group “Lineman Rodeo Association” and ask to join. The goal is to have the name of every competitor on the roster. Even if you don’t do much, just having your name there is important.

• Travel If you are going somewhere for vacation, hunting, or fishing, you can ping other Linemen who live in that area to ask them about it. If you have car trouble wherever you are, you can ping Linemen in the area for advice and help. A sort of Good Sam club for Linemen

• History / Collectors A place where members can display their collection and let other members know what they have.

• Retirees The “Retired Lineman Club” So you can find your old pole buddies!

The possibilities are endless if we can get enough Linemen to sign up.

The first rule about the Fellowship is that you don't talk about the Fellowship except with other Linemen.

Security
As the owner of PowerLineman, I have total confidence in our web designer John Pishotta. He and I have been working together on Powerlineman for many years and I trust him to keep our security tight when it comes to outside threats and hacking into us. The reason I trust him is because I know that it is personal to him. He works to keep everything secure as possible.

The best thing you can do to help me out on this is learn how to invite your buddies. It is so easy, even a Lineman can do it!
